In a press statement, the Ministry viewed the ceasefire as a crucial step that should be followed by international efforts to end the aggression in Gaza and the Israeli Occupation attacks in the occupied West Bank.
The Ministry reiterated Jordan's unwavering support for Lebanon's security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens.
It called for the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, backed the empowerment of Lebanese national institutions, and stressed the importance of rebuilding what was destroyed by the conflict, along with providing necessary economic assistance to Lebanon.
Additionally, the Ministry emphasized that halting the aggression in Gaza is essential for reducing tensions that threaten international peace and security, and for ensuring the continuous delivery of adequate humanitarian aid across the Gaza Strip.
