Hebrew media revealed the provisions of the Lebanon ceasefire deal which is set to be approved by the “Israeli” cabinet later this evening, as announced by Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Key provisions:

  • Hezbollah and all other armed groups in Lebanese territory will refrain from any offensive actions against “Israel”.
  • In return, “Israel” will not conduct any military offensive operations against targets in Lebanon, whether on land, in the air, or at sea.
  • Both “Israel” and Lebanon acknowledge the importance of UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
  • These provisions do not negate the right of “Israel” or Lebanon to exercise their inherent right to self-defense.
  • The official security and military forces of Lebanon will be the only entities authorized to carry weapons or operate forces in southern Lebanon.
  • The sale, supply, and production of weapons or weapon-related materials in Lebanon will be subject to oversight and control by the Lebanese government.
  • All unauthorized facilities involved in the production of weapons and related materials will be dismantled.
  • A joint committee, acceptable to both “Israel” and Lebanon, will be established to monitor and assist in ensuring the implementation of these commitments.
  • “Israel” and Lebanon will notify the committee and UNIFIL of any potential violations of their commitments.
  • Lebanon will deploy its official security and military forces along all borders, crossings, and the southern zone specified in the deployment plan.
  • “Israel” will gradually withdraw its forces south of the Blue Line within a period of up to 60 days.
  • The United States will work to facilitate indirect negotiations between “Israel” and Lebanon to establish mutually recognized land borders.

“Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the cabinet will approve the Lebanon ceasefire deal this evening.

He warned that any violation of the ceasefire deal in Lebanon would be met with a strong military response.

“We will strike Hezbollah if they breach the ceasefire,” Netanyahu said Monday. “We retain full military freedom of action in the event of any violations by Hezbollah.”

In a video statement made after the cabinet meeting, Netanyahu praised the resilience of settlers in the north of the Israeli Occupation amid the ongoing clashes.

“I am proud of the steadfastness of the residents in northern Israel and remain fully committed to their security,” Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu claimed victory on seven fronts. “We have made significant progress in the war and are determined to return all northern residents to their homes,” he said.

He called for the elimination of the Iranian threat a top priority for “Israel”.

“We are committed to dismantling Hamas and have pushed Hezbollah back by decades.”

Netanyahu pledged to ensure the safe return of “Israeli” captives and to continue military operations until victory is secured.

He also issued a stark warning to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad: “Assad must understand that he is playing with fire.”
