'Israeli' strikes target Beirut, speculations of high-profile Hezbollah leader assassination

Hebrew media speculated that the strikes targeted Talal Hamieh, a top Hezbollah commander nicknamed "The Ghost." However, Channel 12 hinted the target might be someone of even greater significance.
No official statements have been released by the 'Israeli' military or broadcasters regarding the strike in the Basta area of Beirut.
Lebanese outlets identified Hamieh as the head of Hezbollah’s Unit 910, responsible for overseas operations. Known for his extreme secrecy and lack of official documents, he succeeded Imad Mughniyeh, another high-profile Hezbollah leader assassinated in 2008.
