Lebanese soldier killed in 'Israeli' strike on southern Lebanon

Lebanese Army reported that two soldiers were injured when an Israeli Occupation strike targeted a military vehicle on the Burj Al-Muluk–Qlayaa road in southern Lebanon. One of the soldiers succumbed to his injuries.

This incident comes amid escalating tensions along the Lebanese-'Israeli' border. On September 30, the 'Israeli' army announced the launch of ground operations near the border with southern Lebanon.

Over the past months, Hezbollah and the 'Israeli' army have exchanged cross-border shelling. Hezbollah has repeatedly refused to cease its operations in Lebanon unless the war on Gaza comes to an end.

In October 2023, Hezbollah opened a "support front" for Gaza following the launch of Operation Aqsa Typhoon.
