These actions are part of what the organization describes as an escalating campaign of genocide against Palestinians that has persisted for over 13 months.
In a statement on Saturday, the monitor detailed that, for 43 consecutive days, “Israeli” forces have been conducting a large-scale assault on northern Gaza, resulting in widespread atrocities.
These include killing and terrorizing civilians, forcibly evicting residents from their homes, and implementing one of the most extensive cases of forced displacement in modern history.
The monitor expressed grave concern for thousands of Palestinians trapped in northern Gaza, who face severe hunger and fear. Many injured individuals reportedly cannot receive proper medical treatment or even basic first aid due to ongoing hostilities.
The organization called on the United Nations and the international community to act urgently to rescue hundreds of thousands of civilians in northern Gaza and to put an end to what it deems a systematic campaign of genocide carried out by “Israel” for a second consecutive year.
