France condemns 'Israeli' demolition of East Jerusalem center funded by Paris

French Foreign Ministry has condemned the demolition of the Al-Bustan Association's center in East Jerusalem by Israeli Occupation authorities.

French Foreign Ministry spokesperson Christophe Lemoine expressed concerns over the action, calling it part of Israeli Occupation's ongoing settlement policy, which is illegal under international law. The ministry stated that such actions threaten the two-state solution and the status of Jerusalem.

The French Consulate in Jerusalem also voiced its "outrage" and demanded an explanation from 'Israeli' authorities.

The demolished center was located in the Al-Bustan neighborhood of Silwan, near Jerusalem’s Old City, an area that has seen increased settler activity in recent years.
