“Israeli” army approves plans for expanded ground operation in Lebanon
Hebrew media reported that the “Israeli” Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi has approved plans for an expanded ground operation in Lebanon.

Earlier, Hebrew Channel 12 said that military officials believe it is still premature to allow residents of border towns to return to their homes, given the ongoing security concerns.
The channel also noted that there is a consensus between “Israeli” and US officials that the achievements on the Lebanese front have reached their peak, with suggestions to leverage these gains politically.
Additionally, Channel 14 reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has approved a request from National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir to join the security cabinet’s meetings on managing the conflict.
