Police in riot gear moved in on the protesters who were chanting slogans and holding up placards at Dam square in the wake of clashes between “Israeli” football fans and groups of youths on Thursday.
Reuters said the Dutch police took away more than 100 protestors.
The demonstrators gathered in Dam Sqaure, chanting “Free Palestine” and “Amsterdam says no to genocide”.
One protester was taken to an ambulance while bleeding.
