Drivers cautioned of reduced visibility due to early morning fog
The Jordanian Meteorological Department (JMD) issued a warning for low visibility due to early morning fog over high mountain areas. Drivers should also be cautious of slippery roads in rainy areas and reduced visibility from dust in desert regions.
On Sunday, the weather will be mild across most regions and warm in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at various altitudes. Light rain showers may fall briefly in the far northeastern desert this afternoon. Winds will be moderate from the southeast, shifting to the west later in the day, with occasional gusts causing dust in desert areas.
On Monday, temperatures will dip slightly, bringing partly cloudy and mild weather to most areas, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will stay warm. Light morning rain showers are possible in northern Jordan. Winds will be moderate from the northwest, with occasional gusts.
Tuesday will bring a slight rise in temperatures, keeping the weather mild in most areas and warm in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some low clouds. Winds will be light and variable between the northeast and northwest.
Wednesday’s weather will remain mild in most areas, warm in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with high clouds appearing in southern Jordan. Winds will be light from the northeast.
