A traffic patrol unit in Mafraq successfully returned JD 1,800 to a woman of Arab nationality after she left it in a taxi.

According to the details, the woman approached the traffic unit in the Mafraq city center to report that she had lost her wallet containing JD 1,800 in one of the taxis in the area.

The patrol crew immediately reviewed the nearest surveillance camera footage to identify the taxi. After locating it, they contacted the operations center to obtain the phone number of the vehicle's owner.

Officers reached out to the taxi owner and informed him that a wallet had been left on the back seat of his vehicle. Upon searching, it was confirmed that the wallet was still inside the taxi.

The vehicle owner returned the wallet to Captain Mohammed Al-Jahmneh, the traffic patrol supervisor, who then handed it over to the woman.

The woman expressed her gratitude to the Mafraq Traffic Department for their prompt response and attention to her issue.
