University of Jordan adjusts administrative staff hours

The President of the University of Jordan, Dr. Nathir Obeidat, announced a change in the working hours for administrative staff, postponing the start time from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM. This adjustment will take effect on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, and staff will continue working until 4:00 PM.

The university's official announcement specified that the new hours would not apply to units and departments where work requirements necessitate different schedules. These departments will coordinate their hours directly with their respective administrations.

Dr. Rakan Abu Orabi, the Director of the Media and Relations Unit at the University of Jordan, confirmed to Roya that there will be no changes to student schedules, with the first lecture still starting at 8:30 AM.
