Scattered showers, slight drop in temperatures in Jordan today

Today, temperatures in Jordan are expected to dip slightly below seasonal averages, with partly cloudy skies and intermittent rain showers forecast for the northern and central regions, particularly in the north, where showers could become heavy and accompanied by thunder.

Rain is also expected to spread into parts of the northeastern desert by afternoon, with moderate to occasionally brisk westerly winds.

• Thursday: Unsettled and mild in most regions, with moderate conditions in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Scattered rain showers are expected, with possible thunder at times, and moderate to occasionally brisk south-easterly winds.
