Scattered showers, slight drop in temperatures in Jordan today
Today, temperatures in Jordan are expected to dip slightly below seasonal averages, with partly cloudy skies and intermittent rain showers forecast for the northern and central regions, particularly in the north, where showers could become heavy and accompanied by thunder.
Rain is also expected to spread into parts of the northeastern desert by afternoon, with moderate to occasionally brisk westerly winds.
Weather Warnings
The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) has issued warnings of reduced visibility due to fog on mountain heights and in parts of the desert and plains. Drivers are advised to be cautious of slippery roads, and residents are urged to avoid valleys and low-lying areas that could experience heavy rain and flash flooding.
