'Israel' claims death of Hamas political leader in Gaza

Israeli Occupation military claimed on Friday that it had assassinated Ezzedine Kassab, a member of the political bureau of Hamas, in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

The military said in a statement that an airstrike was conducted based on intelligence, resulting in the killing of Kassab.

It added that Kassab was a member of Hamas's political bureau, responsible for national relations within the organization, and oversaw coordination and communication between Hamas and other factions in Gaza.
