'Israeli' PM Netanyahu faces new scandal

Israeli Occupation newspaper Haaretz revealed Friday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is at the center of a new scandal, allegedly using a recent drone incident involving Hezbollah to postpone his upcoming trial.

Netanyahu is using the drone explosion near his residence as grounds to delay his court appearance scheduled for December 11, claiming Hezbollah might target Jerusalem's central court during his trial, according to Haaretz. This delay request suggests he may not be prepared to testify.

Additionally, the report highlighted efforts to pass a law restricting disclosure of Netanyahu's whereabouts for security reasons, with potential criminal penalties for breaches, following the drone incident.

Another controversy involves Netanyahu’s spokesperson, appointed without security clearance, who allegedly leaked sensitive information from security meetings to foreign media, including some forged documents and other serious disclosures. Authorities are now investigating whether the spokesperson acted on personal motives, or if the leaks were directed by Netanyahu or other officials.
