Unstable conditions to bring rain, thunderstorms to Jordan
The Jordan Meteorological Department has announced that Jordan will continue to experience unstable weather conditions in the coming days, with scattered showers expected across several regions. Active winds may also raise dust, particularly in eastern and desert areas.
The department stated that Jordan will remain under the effects of this instability through Friday, with clouds at various altitudes and intermittent rain expected mainly in northern, central, and eastern areas during the afternoon hours.
Rainfall may be heavy at times in northern and eastern Jordan and could be accompanied by thunder, while southern regions are expected to have sunny skies with moderate northeasterly winds, occasionally kicking up dust in desert areas.
At night, temperatures will drop, especially in the northern desert, with a lingering chance of light rain. Pleasant conditions are expected in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba.
The Meteorological Department warned of potential flooding in northern and eastern regions after the afternoon, low visibility due to dust in desert areas, and slippery roads due to wet conditions.
