Jordan eases entry for Libyan nationals

The Jordanian Ministry of Interior has approved visa-free entry for Libyan nationals, while Royal Jordanian Airlines has resumed flights to Tripoli after a ten-year hiatus.

These decisions followed meetings between Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan and leaders from health and tourism sectors, focusing on simplifying medical tourism procedures and leveraging Jordan’s reputation in healthcare.

Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya confirmed that Libyan travelers now only need a valid passport to enter Jordan, with visas available online or at entry points.

This initiative aligns with Jordan’s economic vision to position itself as a global destination for cultural, natural, and medical tourism, aiming to attract more international visitors and investors.
