Hezbollah says repelled “Israeli” forces as sirens activated in Tel Aviv
Hezbollah said it fired rockets and artillery at “Israeli” troops attempting to infiltrate Lebanese territory on Wednesday, one month into the all-out war between the two foes.
The Iran-backed group, which also said several rocket salvos were fired on “Israeli” soldiers in Lebanese border villages during the day, said it forced “Israeli” troops to "retreat behind the frontier" after they attempted to infiltrate from the outskirts of the south Lebanon village of Aitarun.

Simultaneously, explosions and sirens were heard on Wednesday evening in the greater Tel Aviv area and central “Israel”.
The “Israeli” Broadcast Authority confirmed the suspension of civil aviation at Ben Gurion Airport following the bombardment of Tel Aviv.
The “Israeli” military reported that sirens were sounded in central Israel for the second time that day and acknowledged that four projectiles were launched from Lebanon, targeting occupied territories.
The military also admitted that its defense systems failed to intercept some of the rockets, with several landing in the Gush Dan area.
