“Israel” claims six Al-Jazeera journalists are Hamas, PIJ “terrorists”
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) published today what it claims are documents found in the Gaza Strip confirming that six Al-Jazeera journalists in Gaza are affiliated with Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).
The six journalists are Anas Jamal Mahmoud Al-Sharif, Alaa Abdul Aziz Muhammad Salama, Hossam Basel Abdul Karim Shabat, Ashraf Sami Ashour Saraj, Ismail Farid Muhammad Abu Omar, and Talal Mahmoud Abdul Rahman Aruki.
The unverified documents show personnel tables, list of military training courses, phone directories, and salary slips, which the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) claim is “unequivocal proof that these individuals serve as military operatives for the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip.”
Many says the unverified documents come as a precursor to assassinate the aforementioned journalists, as was the case in late July when a precise “Israeli” airstrike killed Al-Jazeera’s Correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul and cameraman Rami Al-Rifi near the home of the late Ismail Haniyeh in Al-Shati refugee camp.
The number of journalists killed in “Israeli” attacks in the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7 is 165 – according to an August statistic.
