Israeli Occupation’s aggression on Gaza enters 383rd day
On the 383rd day of the 'Israeli' assault on Gaza, heavy bombardment continued in the strip, with Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) targeting an UNRWA shelter in the Jabalia refugee camp.
Local sources confirmed the death of 70 Palestinians since the early hours of Tuesday, with 57 casualties reported in northern Gaza alone.
By Tuesday evening, Roya's correspondent reported that IOF were surrounding Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza. Civil defense teams also announced that they had recovered two bodies and rescued 10 people after IOF struck the Usama Bin Zaid School in Beit Lahia.
Acting director of Al-Awda Hospital, Muhammad Salha, warned that the siege on the hospital had made it impossible for staff or patients to leave or even approach windows. Food supplies have dwindled to a single daily meal, consisting of half a loaf of bread or a small portion of rice. This is the third siege of the hospital since the start of the offensive, raising fears that 'Israeli' forces may storm the facility, forcing the evacuation of staff and patients.
Salha also highlighted the World Health Organization's inability to deliver fuel and critical supplies to the hospital.
