Senior Hamas official delivers remarks in Beirut press conference
Osama Hamdan, a senior official in the Islamic Resistance Movements (Hamas), delivered remarks in a press conference today in Lebanon.
Hamas denounced what he said is the Israeli Occupation’s escalation of all forms of warfare against Gaza, aiming to annihilate or displace its population, adding that it is “preventing any chance of life in northern Gaza.”

Hamdan condemned the global silence over the “Israeli” crimes happening in northern Gaza, and said that the US administration is complicit in the genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
He added that the one-month deadline given by the United States to the Israeli Occupation confirms its complicity in the war on Gaza.

He called on the UN Security Council to immediately intervene and fulfill its responsibilities in protecting Gaza’s residents.
The Lebanon-based official reiterated Hamas’ demands for a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange deal: “The withdrawal [from Gaza], the complete cessation of aggression, and lifting the blockade on Gaza.
