Cause of deadly accident in Jordan revealed

Public Security Directorate (PSD) revealed the cause of the deadly accident on the Adasiya road that claimed the lives of six people and left several injured.

A representative from the Traffic Patrol Department explained that the most notable incident in the past 24 hours involved a cargo truck overturning in Naour, near the Adasiya descent toward the Dead Sea. The truck flipped, crossed into the opposite lane, and collided with several vehicles.

A special committee of traffic experts was formed to investigate the incident. They determined that faulty brakes on the truck (trailer) caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.

Earlier, a PSD spokesperson said that Civil Defense and police teams had responded to the scene of the accident, where the truck overturned and crashed into seven vehicles in the Adasiya area. The incident resulted in six fatalities and three injuries.

Emergency teams evacuated the deceased and provided first aid to the injured before transporting them to a nearby hospital.
