According to the latest weather maps, Jordan is set to be affected by a cold air mass, bringing an early cold wave with a noticeable drop in temperatures, especially during the night and early morning hours.

On Tuesday, daytime temperatures will decrease slightly, falling 2 to 4°C below their seasonal averages.

The weather will be sunny but cool, becoming significantly colder by evening and night as the air turns chilly across most regions.

Winds will be moderate from the east, occasionally gusting, especially in the mountain slopes and the Jordan Valley, enhancing the sensation of cold.

Weather forecast for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

The cold wave will intensify over the coming days, with temperatures dropping further to 3 to 5°C below the seasonal norm.

The weather will remain sunny but cool, with the capital, Amman, expected to reach a high of just 19°C during the day, and a wind-chill effect making it feel closer to 16°C, particularly in shaded areas.

Temperatures expected to drop to 6°C

Nighttime temperatures will fall to between 8 and 10°C in the highlands, including Amman and the eastern plains, with areas in the Sharah Mountains and eastern desert experiencing lows around 6°C.

The cold will be exacerbated by the absence of sunlight and strong eastern winds, making it feel even colder, around 5 to 6°C.

It is advised to dress warmly, particularly in the early morning and at dawn, with special attention to children and the elderly – according to ArabiaWeather’s forecast.
