IMAGES: Drones spotted over Jordan as explosion heard

Several drones were seen flying over the skies of Irbid, heading toward occupied Palestine, as a loud explosion echoed through the city, according to a Roya correspondent.

Our correspondent confirmed that one of the drones was intercepted over Irbid, as captured by security camera footage showing what appeared to be an object exploding in the sky.

Exclusive images obtained by Roya show parts of the downed drone that crashed between the villages of Jumha and Kafr Awan, west of Irbid, where security forces were present at the scene.

Authorities conducted a thorough search of the area, with no reported material damage.

Meanwhile, Hebrew media reported that sirens were activated in northern Jordan Valley towns as a precaution against potential drone infiltration. The Israeli Occupation military later announced it had intercepted a drone launched from the east, triggering alarms in several towns in the Jordan Valley.
