“Israel” apologizes for killing Lebanese soldiers

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) has issued an apology after a strike that killed three Lebanese soldiers in the south yesterday.

The statement said the vehicle targeted in the attack was believed to belong to Hezbollah; after claiming it previously targeted a Hezbollah truck in the same area.

“[The IOF] is not operating against the Lebanese Army and apologizes for these unwanted circumstances,” it further claimed.

The Lebanese troops were killed on a road near the border between the village of Ain Ebel to Hanin.

The death toll of Lebanese troops from the “Israeli” aggression has risen to eight.
