'Anti-Israel' messages seen on billboards in Chicago
Digital billboards in Northbrook, Illinois, displayed anti-Israeli Occupation messages Wednesday evening due to a hacking incident.
The signs, which appeared around 5:30 PM, prompted Congressman Brad Schneider to contact local police and the billboard company, OUTFRONT Media, for their immediate removal.
Northbrook police determined the messages were unauthorized and resulted from the hacking incident while OUTFRONT Media and the Village of Northbrook condemned the actions.
The hacked billboards also said that they were “paid for by Mr. Beast LLC,” but the popular YouTuber's team denied any involvement.
'Israel' has been at the recieving end of heavy criticism due to its ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people which left over 40,000 people killed, most of whom were women and children, since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023.
