Gaza’s Ministry of Health has issued a warning that the ongoing siege on Jabalia and northern Gaza poses a significant threat to lives.

The ministry's statement highlighted that Al-Awda and the Indonesian hospitals were hit directly last Friday amid escalating hostilities in northern Gaza. These attacks have exacerbated an already dire humanitarian crisis in the area.

The statement further noted that Israeli Occupation Forces have intensified efforts to evacuate these hospitals over the past two weeks, with patients, medical staff, and displaced civilians sustaining injuries as a result.

It confirmed that two patients died due to power outages and shortages of supplies at the Indonesian hospital, leading some medical personnel to flee for their lives.

Additionally, the statement pointed out that Kamal Adwan Hospital is treating two-thirds of over 370 patients in northern Gaza, most of whom are trauma cases. The hospital is critically short of beds, medicine, medical supplies, and fuel.

Since yesterday, an urgent UN request to access northern Gaza and rescue dozens of injured people trapped under rubble by Israeli Occupation Forces has gone unmet.

The ministry called for immediate access for humanitarian and rescue teams to save lives without delay.
