Drone targets Netanyahu's home near Caesarea
An explosion rocked the city of Caesarea, located south of Haifa, following alerts about the potential infiltration of drones in the area.
Hebrew media reported that a drone was launched toward the home of "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, although it was confirmed that he and his wife were not present at the time.
The situation escalated as sirens were activated in Tel Aviv, particularly in the Gilelot area, amid growing concerns about drones possibly infiltrating from Lebanon. Reports indicate that the interception of a drone led to damage to a residential building in Caesarea.
Additionally, explosions were reported in the sky over Haifa and its surrounding bay. According to further updates, three drones breached areas including Gilelot, Caesarea, the western Galilee, and Haifa Bay.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) reported that two of the drones were intercepted, while the third crashed into a building in Caesarea.
In response to the incident, the "Israeli" police closed off roads in Caesarea and restricted media access to the site of the drone crash. Netanyahu's office remained tight-lipped about the Prime Minister's location during the explosion.
Large contingents of police forces have been dispatched to the site of the drone crash, with reports of significant military activity, including warplanes and helicopters, mobilized in the skies over the city.
A Roya reporter stated that Netanyahu's residence sustained damage due to the drone attack in Caesarea.
