"Prime Minister of Israel is Hitler," Nicaraguan President criticizes Netanyahu
Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega made headlines on Monday by comparing "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Adolf Hitler, labeling him the “son of the devil,” Middle East Monitor reported.
In a passionate speech, Ortega condemned Netanyahu's actions in the Middle East, asserting that the "Israeli" leader embodies a “policy of terror” against the Palestinian people.
“At the head of the Government of Israel, there is a prime minister who is the son of the devil,” Ortega stated, adding, “And it’s Hitler. Yes, the prime minister of Israel is Hitler, installed there, calling to destroy the peoples.”
His remarks come just days after Nicaragua officially severed diplomatic relations with "Israel", a decision prompted by ongoing Israeli Occupation aggression and what Ortega described as “brutal genocide” perpetrated against Palestinians.
The Nicaraguan government announced its decision to break ties through a parliamentary resolution, simultaneously ordering the withdrawal of its ambassador from "Israel".
Ortega also took the opportunity to criticize the US and EU member states, accusing them of complicity by supporting and arming "Israel".
He warned that their actions could lead to a global conflict, stating, “They lead the planet to a total war or simply they have no choice but to wait for defeat.”
