“Herd of idiots”: Former 'Israeli' general slams Netanyahu’s government

Retired "Israeli" General Itzhak Brik delivered a scathing critique of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government, labeling it “a herd of idiots” and warning that their decisions pose a significant threat to "Israel's" very existence.

In comments reported by "Israeli" media, Brik expressed grave concerns about the divisive effects of the ongoing military operations in Gaza and Lebanon, which he believes have led to a dangerous level of polarization in "Israeli" society characterized by widespread hatred and distrust.

Brik cautioned that this societal rift risks splitting "Israel" into two separate entities: the ‘State of Israel’ and the ‘State of Judea.’

He accused the Netanyahu administration and its allies of perpetuating a “propaganda machine” that spreads misinformation and incites hostility against critics, further deepening the fractures within the nation.

The retired general also highlighted the toll of the continuous aggression taken on by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), stating that the forces are exhausted and strained.

He noted a troubling trend where increasing numbers of reservists are refusing military call-ups, and regular soldiers are facing burnout and skill degradation due to the suspension of training programs.

Furthermore, Brik raised alarms about the state of "Israel's" educational system, describing it as fragile and nearing collapse. He warned that numerous institutions are grappling with similar crises.
