Euro-Med Monitor: Israeli Occupation deploys booby-trapped robots against Gaza civilians

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor reported that the Israeli Occupation is utilizing booby-trapped robots to inflict damage on Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

On October 9, a resident of Gaza described hearing a massive explosion in the Al-Qassabi neighborhood. "The sound of that explosion was even louder than the air strikes, covering the area in white dust," they recalled. "It turned out that the blast was caused by a robot loaded with tons of explosives, obliterating around six or seven houses at once."

The Euro-Med Monitor's field team reported that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) detonated two additional robots in the Tawam and Zahraa neighborhoods, both located west of the Jabalia refugee camp. Another explosion occurred at the Abu Ali Mustafa intersection in Bir al-Naja, also west of Jabalia.

Since the onset of the aggression in October 2023, there have been increasing reports of "Israel" employing robots and AI-assisted technology in Gaza. While "Israeli" media have characterized these technologies primarily for surveillance purposes, the destructive outcomes have raised serious alarms.
