Weather forecast: Rain, fog in coming days

Jordan is set to be affected by an autumn air mass bringing cooler-than-usual temperatures across the country – said a weather forecast by ArabiaWeather.

Conditions will remain mild in mountainous regions during the day on Wednesday, with scattered clouds, but temperatures will become relatively cold at night and in the early morning.

Starting Thursday and into the weekend, a cooler air mass is expected to affect Jordan, resulting from a cold front settling over Turkey.

This will extend into Jordan, causing a noticeable temperature drop on Thursday and Friday, with temperatures falling 2 to 3 degrees Celsius below the seasonal average.

Daytime conditions will be pleasant across most areas, with a slight chill in the mountains. However, nighttime and early morning temperatures will dip significantly, making the weather relatively cold. Residents may need to wear warmer clothing than usual, as nighttime temperatures in Amman are expected to approach 10 degrees Celsius.

The cooler air mass will also bring moisture to the middle and lower layers of the atmosphere, leading to the possibility of scattered showers in northern Jordan on Thursday and through the weekend.

Additionally, early morning fog is expected to form over parts of the highlands.
