"Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to continue military strikes across Lebanon, including its capital, Beirut, as part of ongoing operations against Hezbollah.

His comments came during a visit to the Golani Brigade training base near Binyamina, which had recently been targeted by a Hezbollah drone attack that killed four "Israeli" soldiers and injured dozens more.

Netanyahu stressed "Israel's" commitment to intensifying its efforts against Hezbollah, saying, "We will strike Hezbollah across all of Lebanon, including Beirut. We are in a difficult war against an enemy that seeks to destroy us."

These statements come despite reports suggesting that Tel Aviv had assured the Biden administration it would refrain from attacking Beirut directly.

However, the recent escalation, particularly after the deadly drone strike, has led to a sharp rise in tensions between "Israel" and Hezbollah.

Netanyahu’s remarks signal that "Israel" is prepared to extend its military campaign, despite international pressure.
