Jordan evacuates 35 citizens from Lebanon, sends 15 tons of aid
Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced Saturday the evacuation of 35 Jordanian citizens from Lebanon via a Royal Jordanian Air Force military aircraft.
The plane, which landed at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport, carried 15 tons of humanitarian aid for the Lebanese people. This marks the eighth aid plane sent by Jordan, bringing the total aid delivered since the onset of Israeli Occupation aggression to 125 tons, including food, relief supplies, medicine, and medical equipment.
Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Qudah stated that a total of 79 Jordanians have been evacuated from Lebanon via two Royal Jordanian Air Force planes. All those evacuated had registered on the evacuation platform with the Jordanian Embassy in Lebanon. He also noted that since the beginning of August, 3,285 Jordanian citizens have returned to the Kingdom from Lebanon through Queen Alia International Airport, in addition to those who crossed the border at the Jaber Border Crossing.

Ambassador Qudah added that the Jordanian Embassy in Beirut, in coordination with civil aviation authorities, has been working with Middle East Airlines to arrange additional flights to Jordan, with special seating for Jordanians wishing to return. The embassy is also assisting in organizing ground transportation through Syria for those who prefer that route.
The evacuation efforts are part of a broader plan devised by the ministry, the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, security agencies, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Center for Security and Crisis Management. The goal is to ensure the safe return of Jordanians from Lebanon amidst the ongoing Israeli Occupation aggression.
Ambassador Qudah confirmed that the joint crisis cell is continuing its efforts to evacuate Jordanian citizens from Lebanon in coordination with Lebanese authorities. He emphasized that the embassy remains in constant communication with Jordanian nationals in Lebanon, confirming that no injuries have been reported among them. He expressed gratitude to Lebanon for facilitating the evacuation efforts.
Qudah also urged Jordanians in Lebanon who wish to leave to immediately register on the online platform via the following link: https://mfa.gov.jo/ar/embassy/Beirut/BeirutForm.
