Israeli Occupation’s aggression on Gaza enters 372nd day
Israeli Occupation has continued its assault on all aspects of life in Gaza for the 372nd consecutive day, targeting more homes and destroying residential neighborhoods, leaving behind more martyrs and casualties.
'Israeli' army carried out massive demolitions, targeting residential areas and Palestinian homes in the Safatwi and Touam neighborhoods in northern Gaza.
For the first time since October 7, 2023, the army has referred to Gaza as a "secondary battlefield," according to the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.
World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced that health services in northern Gaza are nearly non-existent due to the ongoing 'Israeli' blockade preventing relief teams from entering the area.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Ghebreyesus explained that 'Israel' has once again blocked two WHO missions from reaching northern Gaza.
Ghebreyesus called on Tel Aviv to halt forced displacement and ensure the protection of hospitals, stating, "There are almost no health services available in northern Gaza, and people have nowhere to turn."
Close-Range Engagements
The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced the destruction of a military personnel carrier in Beit Lahia and detonated an 'Israeli' tunnel force in Rafah.
The Qassam Brigades reported that they destroyed the personnel carrier using a "Shuwaz" explosive device and a "Yassin 105" shell, killing and injuring its crew west of Beit Lahia, northern Gaza.
The Al-Quds Brigades confirmed that they engaged in close-range combat with 'Israeli' forces in northwest Gaza.
Operation Aqsa Typhoon
The Qassam Brigades launched the Operation Aqsa Typhoon on October 7, 2023, in response to 'Israeli' violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
In retaliation, 'Israel' launched a military operation against Gaza named "Swords of Iron," carrying out a series of intense airstrikes across the Strip, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians, thousands of injuries, and the destruction of numerous buildings, residential towers, institutions, and infrastructure.
Rising 'Israeli' Casualties
According to the latest toll, the army has reported 735 deaths among its officers and soldiers since October 7, with 352 killed since the ground operation began on October 27.
The army also reported that 4,720 soldiers have been injured since the start of the aggression on Gaza, including 2,832 with minor injuries, 1,180 with moderate injuries, and 708 in critical condition.
