Biden urges Israeli Occupation to cease fire on UNIFIL peacekeepers in Lebanon

US President Joe Biden called on the Israeli Occupation to stop firing at UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) personnel on Friday.

During a White House meeting, Biden stressed the importance of protecting the UN peacekeeping force deployed in southern Lebanon.

In a related development, French President Emmanuel Macron stated that the Israeli Occupation's deliberate targeting of the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in southern Lebanon is "completely unacceptable."

On Friday, Macron emphasized that France "will not tolerate" further attacks on UN peacekeeping troops.
