Jordan strongly condemns fatal Israeli Occupation attack on Lebanese army post in Kafra
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned "in the strongest terms" the Israeli Occupation's attack on a Lebanese army post in Kafra, southern Lebanon, which killed two Lebanese soldiers and injured others.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Sufyan Qudah reiterated Jordan’s rejection of "Israel's" aggression, warning that this escalation could lead to a broader regional war.
The Ministry called it a clear violation of international law and Lebanese sovereignty.
He stressed the urgent need for international intervention to stop "Israel’s" actions and called for the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
Qudah expressed Jordan’s solidarity with Lebanon and urged the international community to hold the Israeli Occupation accountable for its violations.
He also extended condolences to Lebanon and the families of the victims, wishing a swift recovery for the injured.
