11-10-2024 11:08|The Gaza Strip has been classified as a “secondary combat zone” by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) after more than one year of fighting, as it shifts its focus to the assault on Lebanon – which has already left more than 2,000 dead.
The “Israeli” military resources are now being concentrated on its operations in Lebanon – according to Hebrew news outlet Yedioth Ahronoth.
However, a recently-launched military operation in Jabalia camp in north Gaza is still being carried out by IOF’s southern command; and several “Israeli” soldiers have been killed operating in the area.
Yesterday, the IOF said three soldiers were killed in Jabalia, bringing the death toll of troops killed in the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip –on Oct. 27, 2023– to 353.
