Member of Kuwaiti Royal Family arrested

Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of a member of the ruling family (whose name has not been disclosed) who was wanted for failing to comply with a court ruling.

In a statement, the ministry explained, “The security forces successfully apprehended the individual from the royal family, who was evading a prison sentence related to drug charges. This followed intensive search operations and tracking of his movements. His location was identified, and he was arrested and referred to the relevant authorities for legal proceedings.”

Ministry of Interior emphasized that this operation reflects its commitment to enforcing the law on everyone without exception, including members of the ruling family, to uphold the rule of law, justice, and equality.

The ministry added that this action is part of its ongoing efforts to apprehend lawbreakers, enforce court rulings against wanted individuals, and ensure compliance with the law while safeguarding the rights of all citizens.
