South Korea defeats Jordan 2-0 in World Cup qualifier

The match between Jordan's national football team and South Korea commenced on Thursday evening as part of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

The South Korean national team opened the scoring against Jordan in the 38th minute of the first half and added a second goal in the 68th minute, turning the total score to 0-2, inevitably winning the match.

As a result, the Jordanian national team dropped to third place in their group with 4 points, while South Korea topped the group with 7 points.

Additionally, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II arrived at Amman International Stadium to attend the national team's match.

The head coach of the national football team, Jamal Sellami, announced the team's lineup, which includes: Yazeed Abu-Laila, Hossam Abu Al-Dhahab, Yazan Al-Arab, Abdallah Nasib, Mohammad Abu Hashish, Noor Al-Rawabdeh, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Ihsan Haddad, Mohannad Abu Taha, Ali Alwan, and Mahmoud Al-Mardi.
