Under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Jordan evacuated 44 citizens today from Lebanon amid the ongoing “Israeli” aggression.

Since the beginning of August, 3,219 Jordanian citizens have returned to Jordan from Lebanon.

“In a significant humanitarian effort, Jordan successfully evacuated 44 of its citizens from Lebanon today, utilizing a Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft,” said a statement by the Foreign Ministry.

“The plane had initially arrived at Rafic Hariri International Airport this morning, delivering humanitarian aid to the Lebanese people.

“The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Sufyan al-Qudah, explained that this evacuation is part of a broader plan developed in coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces, security agencies, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Center for Security and Crisis Management.

“The initiative aims to ensure the safe return of Jordanians in Lebanon amidst the ongoing Israeli assaults on Lebanese territory.

“Ambassador al-Qudah emphasized that the joint crisis management unit of Jordan remains committed to facilitating the evacuation of Jordanian citizens, working closely with the relevant Lebanese authorities.

“He confirmed that the Jordanian embassy in Lebanon is in continuous contact with the Jordanian community there, relying on a database maintained by the Ministry’s Operations Center, assuring that all Jordanians in Lebanon are safe and unharmed.

“He also mentioned that a team from the Jordanian embassy in Beirut will be present at Rafic Hariri International Airport to oversee the evacuation operations. The ambassador expressed gratitude to the Lebanese government for facilitating the evacuation process.

“Since the beginning of August, a total of 3,219 Jordanians have returned to the kingdom from Lebanon via Queen Alia International Airport.

“Additionally, Ambassador al-Qudah announced the activation of an online platform for Jordanians residing in or visiting Lebanon who wish to leave the country. He urged citizens to register promptly on the platform at this link and to contact the Ministry or the Jordanian embassy in Lebanon for assistance at any time.
