Jordan's Anti-Narcotics Department has conducted operations leading to the arrest of 14 drug traffickers and dealers, including three classified as high-risk individuals, the Public Security Directorate’s spokesperson said in a statement.

The operations, carried out across several governorates, included nine major cases.

One of the most notable occurred in Ajloun, where a wanted suspect, who had evaded authorities for an extended period and faced 56 drug-related charges, was apprehended along with another individual wanted on nine charges. The raid led to the seizure of various narcotics.

In another operation in Jerash, a high-risk suspect with seven drug-related warrants was arrested, along with a firearm and drugs found in his possession.

In central Badia, another dangerous suspect wanted for drug-related crimes was captured along with an accomplice.

In a separate case, authorities intercepted a parcel containing 500 grams of crystal meth hidden inside, which was being shipped via a postal service. The individual responsible was arrested.

In Irbid, a raid targeting a drug dealer led to the confiscation of two kilograms of crystal meth. Another dealer in the same area was also arrested with synthetic cannabis and pills. In Aqaba, a trafficker was arrested with 35 blocks of hashish.

Additionally, in Amman, three drug dealers were arrested after a raid on a residence where a firearm and narcotics were found. In Mafraq, two traffickers were arrested with four blocks of hashish and 600 grams of crystal meth.

All cases have been referred to the State Security Court for prosecution – per the statement.
