Abu Obaida issues statement following south “Israel” operation

Abu Obaida, the Spokesperson of Hamas’ military wing Al-Qassam Brigades, issued a statement following the recent operation in south “Israel” which left 13 “Israelis” injured and one killed.

Abu Obaida commended the attack, saying it was “carried out by one of our heroes from the occupied territories” adding that the “trust in the patriotism of our people in the occupied Palestinian territories of 1948 remains steadfast and unshaken.”

“We are confident that the youth in these areas possess the capability to devise means to inflict pain on the occupier while supporting their brothers and sisters in the besieged Gaza through all possible means,” he concluded.

Thirteen “Israelis” were injured and one killed after a man opened fire at the Beersheba central bus station – according to Hebrew Channel 12.

The assailant was neutralized – according to Hebrew media.

The “Israeli” Army Radio said that investigations are underway to determine whether the attack involved both gunfire and a stabbing incident, suggesting the possibility of a coordinated assault.
