40 percent of Lebanese pupils displaced by “Israeli” bombardment
Nearly half of Lebanon's 1.25 million school pupils have become displaced, a top education ministry official said Sunday, as “Israel's” intensifying strikes on the country forced more than one million people to flee.
"There are 1.25 million pupils in Lebanese schools," Director General of Education Imad Achkar said, and "40 percent of them have been displaced" by “Israeli” bombardment – according to Agence France-Presse.
