The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched an unprecedented wave of airstrikes last night, targeting northern Gaza and southern Beirut in a dramatic escalation of violence.

In Gaza, over 50 airstrikes pounded various locations in the north, with one of the deadliest hitting a mosque sheltering displaced civilians near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah. The strike on the mosque has left at least 21 people dead.

In addition, the IOF Air Force targeted Ibn Rushd School in the Zawaida area, another shelter for displaced civilians.

Meanwhile, Beirut’s Dahieh faced the most intense bombardment since the start of the "Israeli" attacks.

Roya's correspondent confirmed that more than 25 airstrikes targeted the area where successive explosions rocked the district, sending plumes of black smoke across the city.

The IOF stated it targeted Hezbollah’s weapons infrastructure and claimed measures were taken to reduce civilian casualties.

Additionally, French President Emmanuel Macron called on Saturday to halt the delivery of weapons to the Israeli Occupation as part of its aggression on Gaza.

“The priority today is to return to a political solution and stop the delivery of weapons fueling battles in Gaza,” Macron said in an interview with France Inter radio.

Macron's comments follow actions by the US and the UK to limit arms exports to "Israel".

Earlier this year, US President Joe Biden suspended the delivery of certain bombs, while in September, the UK froze 30 out of 350 export licenses for weapons to "Israel", citing concerns over potential violations of international humanitarian law.
