Iran's ballistic missile barrage could have serious consequences, analysts say
Iran's recent barrage of ballistic missiles has reportedly overwhelmed Israeli Occupation's air defenses in certain areas, despite causing limited damage, according to independent researchers analyzing emerging satellite imagery, as reported by the Wall Street Journal.
This means that future Iranian strikes targeting civilian infrastructure could lead to far more serious repercussions.
The missile strike, consisting of around 180 fast-moving ballistic missiles—one of the largest of its kind in history—poses significant challenges for Israeli Occupation's military response. Iran has threatened to target "Israeli" power plants and oil refineries if Israeli Occupation retaliates against Iranian territory.

Satellite images indicate that up to 32 missiles landed at the Nevatim Air Base, which houses F-35 fighter jets, although most struck empty areas. Israeli Occupation's military spokesperson stated that the base is operating normally, and no significant capabilities were compromised.
Despite the apparent limited success of the Iranian attack, the situation remains precarious, with US President Joe Biden emphasizing the importance of precise targeting in response to any Iranian aggression. Analysts predict that "Israel's" focus will likely shift to neutralizing Iran's missile production capabilities to mitigate future threats.
