'Israeli' army claims to have eliminated 250 Hezbollah fighters in southern Lebanon
Israeli Occupation army spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated that four days of focused military activity in southern Lebanon resulted in the elimination of 250 Hezbollah fighters, including 20 commanders.
Adraee explained that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) began a limited ground operation in southern Lebanon on Monday, leading to the death of five individuals at the battalion commander level, ten at the company commander level, and six at the squad leader level within Hezbollah.
He claimed that Israeli Occupation troops were able to eliminate fighters who were holed up in buildings and positions adjacent to the security barrier, aiming to mitigate the threat to "settlers" in northern occupied Palestine.
Additionally, Adraee mentioned that during the operation, IOF discovered warehouses containing weapons, launch pads ready for firing, and explosives left behind by Hezbollah fighters. Over 2,000 military targets, including personnel, facilities, military buildings, arms depots, and rocket launch pads, were reportedly attacked.
