UPDATES: “Israel” intensifies strikes across Lebanon

The Israeli Occupation has ramped up its airstrikes on southern Beirut and across southern and eastern Lebanon as the assault has entered its 10th day.

On Tuesday morning, the “Israeli” military announced a "limited, targeted ground operation" in southern Lebanon against Hezbollah positions. The “Israeli” army acknowledged yesterday the deaths of eight of its soldiers in an ambush by Hezbollah fighters during a failed infiltration attempt.

Hezbollah confirmed its forces have been engaged in clashes with “Israeli” troops since Wednesday morning after “Israeli” attempts to breach Lebanese territory.
