Hezbollah says thwarted “Israeli” attempt to advance on southern border
Hezbollah said Thursday that its fighters thwarted an attempt by “Israeli” forces to advance at a border point in southern Lebanon.
This comes a day after battles in which eight Israeli soldiers were killed while crossing the border to target Hezbollah positions.
In a statement, Hezbollah said its fighters successfully repelled the “Israeli” forces' morning attempt to advance at the Fatima’s Gate –a former border crossing between Lebanon and Israel”– using artillery shells.

Yesterday, Hezbollah also engaged in close-quarters combat with “Israeli” troops who infiltrated a southern border village,
According to reports, the unit fell into an ambush set by Hezbollah’s elite Radwan unit.
