Two-year-old orphan child tortured to death by uncle

A two-year-old child was tortured by his uncle in his twenties.

The deceased child, who was also an orphan, was left in the care of his relatives after the death of his parents, and suffered from difficult circumstances – per a court statement obtained by Roya.

The deceased child kept moving between the homes of his uncles until he settled in the home of the one who eventually murdered him; after beating him and torturing him.

The Public Prosecutor of the Major Felonies Court charged the victim with murder and brutal torture, and decided to detain the uncle for 15 days in a Reform and Rehabilitation Center – the period can be extended further.

The uncle beat the orphaned child severely on various parts of his body and face – according to a source close to the investigation.

On the day of the crime, the child's uncle had beaten him severely on various parts of his body, and kicked him on the genital and buttocks area.

The child lost consciousness after crying out, after which the uncle tried to take him to the hospital, but he sadly passed away before arriving.

The source indicated that the detained uncle claimed to the doctors at the hospital that the child had fallen in the bathroom, but after examining his body, traces of violence and beating were found, which necessitated informing the police and the Public Prosecutor, who ordered an autopsy.

According to the source, the autopsy revealed bruises on the face as a result of being subjected to torture at different times, extensive bruises on the genital area, and severe bleeding as a result of being hit by a solid object while he was moving or stationary.
