Since Sept. 23, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have been intensifying their airstrikes on southern Beirut, as well as in southern and eastern Lebanon.

Early Tuesday, the "Israeli" military announced a “limited, localized, and targeted ground operation” against Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon.

The clashes have resulted in the deaths of several "Israeli" soldiers. Hezbollah confirmed that it has been engaging in battles with IOF since Wednesday morning, after "Israeli" troops attempted to infiltrate Lebanese territory.

Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly in consultations with security officials to discuss responses to what is being called an Iranian attack.
